Been accepting lesser PR & projects, plus letting go of some side hustles to free my mental space. Enough of the unwanted chit-chat that nobody asked for. Let us talk SKINCARE! Today’s topic – which popular Laneige cream is for you? We’ll be comparing these two today – Perfect Renew 3X Cream vs Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Acid Cream Moisturiser
Packaging
Right off the bet, it’s pretty obvious from the packaging that the Perfect Renew 3X Cream is formulated for the matured skin demographics while the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Acid Cream’s cute Tiffany Blue jar caters for the younger crowd. While this is not untrue, I do personally think that the Perfect Renew 3X Cream can be suited for those with dry skin, or people in their late 20s to try out – but more on that below!
Both come in a super aesthetic jar and spatulas are included in every box. Cutest spatula with the brand name engraved on it, perhaps I will try not to lose these two like all my other spatulas, haha. Both contain the same 50ml of goodness.

Scent
If you’ve used Laneige products before, you will recognise its typical scent in most skincare products. These two, too, share the same scent. Something I actually enjoy but I understand may not be for everyone.
Texture
Both have very different textures. The Water Bank Hyaluronic Acid Cream has a typical cream moisturiser consistency leaning towards to creamier side whereas the Perfect Renew 3X Cream is a full-fledged balm moisturiser that melts with the warmth of your palm.
I personally love both textures! My skin can tolerate more creamier/balmy moisturisers as I age and these two are just perfect. Probably too thick if I were to use them during my crazy oily skin days back in my teenage years or early 20s.
The Water Bank Hyaluronic Acid cream hugs the skin just nicely, providing enough moisture level to keep the skin chok-chok throughout the day, or night. I have no problem using it in the morning as a person with oily dehydrated skin. It doesn’t pill under sunscreen or break down base makeup fast. I love this. The Perfect Renew balmy character is quite special and you definitely need a spatula to scoop it out. It melts nicely and feels really luxurious on the skin, hence which is why it’s also more expensive than the latter.

Depending on where you purchase these two, Water Bank Hyaluronic Cream is priced at MYR180/50ml while the Perfect Renew 3X Cream costs MYR290/50ml
